Intro

Are you looking for an experienced freelance artist? Someone who can bring high quality art and old school charm to your game? Somone who can help bring your awesome visions to life? Well then I'm your man! I've over a decade of exerpeince in game art and game design. I enjoy working with lone developers, small indie studios, and larger companies.

Any art commissioned will be fully yours and I will even provide any work files such as .PSDs I may have used. I am experienced in every role in creating a game, every type of 2D art asset, and nearly every game genre.

My prices are based on a fixed hourly rate, so your price will be based on how many hours that commission will take. That price is locked in and will not inflate if the project goes over the time I originally estimated. Paypal is the preferred payment method. I can not accept profit-share as a sole method of payment.

The more information you give me the better. To calculate the cost of the commission I need to know a few pieces of key information about what you need done. Dimensions (example, 128x128 pixels) is the most important one. When applicable I need to know Art Style, number of tiles, number of animations, or number of frames.

Art Style

Chosing an art style can be difficult, luckily I can help you with that. You can choose anything in my portfolio, or anything from any existing 2D game and we can go with that art style. You can even describe a combination between two different games, or you can just leave it for me to figure out.

Services

I offer a variety of services and am able to to complete all of the visual aspects of your game. Here are just a few of the services I can provide.

All services are available for the same rate. All art can either Pixel Art, Digitally Painted.

The Process

The process we take depends on the task at hand. I'll give you a few examples.

  1. Give me a description of what you want including dimensions, and any references images you may have.
  2. I'll get you a price and the first frame of your character.
  3. Once this is agreed on, half of the total payment is due.
  4. Once I have the payment I will give you a date.
  5. When the date arrives you will have your finished sprite and the rest of the payment will be due.

Tileset.

  1. Give me a description of what you want including dimensions, and any references images you may have.
  2. If not provided, I will give you a list of tiles that I think you will need.
  3. The first half of the payment will be due.
  4. I will give you a date that I plan to deliver the final tileset
  5. I will give you periodic updates on the tileset.
  6. Tileset is completed and the remainder of the payment is due.

Revisions

I don't make many mistakes, but occasionally it will happen. If you find a problem just ask me and I'll fix it however you need. Remember I make my own games too, so I'm very understanding about technical and functional issues.
